Conference: “HALOPHILES2022”

University of Sevilla participated in the International Conference of Halophilic Microorganisms (HALOPHILES2022) in Alicante (Spain) on the 26th – 29th of June 2022. The HALOPHILES2022 conference takes place every 3 years and addresses to high skilled scientists with research activities in the fields of halophiles, cellular biology, and biotechnology. This HALOPHILES2022 event was the 3rd celebrated in Spain, that is justified by the tradition of Spain in the research of halophile and extremophiles.

Early Career Scientists are highly encouraged to participate in the conference, while FEMS is supporting the event by also funding junior research grants.
