From 29 June to 4 July 2025, our partner Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn (SZN) proudly co-organised the VI International Summer School on Natural Products (ISSNP), held in the beautiful coastal town of Torre del Greco, Naples, Italy.
The Summer School brought together a vibrant community of young researchers, early-career scientists, and renowned experts working across disciplines such as chemistry, biology, ecology, and pharmacology. Over the course of six days, participants engaged in a rich programme of lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions, designed to inspire knowledge exchange and foster new ideas in the study of natural products.
Beyond scientific discussions, the ISSNP provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen collaborations among researchers from academia and industry, and to showcase the critical role of natural products in areas ranging from drug discovery and biotechnology to environmental sustainability.
