On the 2nd of December 2022, the team of WP4: “Systems metabolic engineering for microbial platform optimization” of SECRETed had its internal review meeting to discuss the progress until M18 and plan its short and long-term research activities. The participants were the beneficiaries involved in WP4 (Imperial College London, Lund and USE universities, MATIS, Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn), the project coordinator (IDENER) and the exploitation manager (EXELISIS).
The partners contributing to WP4 presented their research results presenting (1) the identification of promising mutants that appear faster growth and higher protein yields than wildtype, (2) the recombinant production of rhamnolipids and (3) the planned protocols for biosurfactants screening.
